Mum & Baby FAQs
Q) What if my baby cries during our mum and baby yoga class?
A) This class is very much baby-led. So it honestly doesn’t matter if this happens. If they are crying, you can walk around and do whatever you need to settle them.
Q) What if my baby needs to be fed during a mum and baby yoga class?
A) This class is baby-led, so feel free to feed your baby when you need to.
Q) What if my baby sleeps during our mum and baby yoga class?
A) If they are sleeping, just enjoy the peace and the time to move your body, or join them on the mat and have a rest too.
Q) When should I start mum and baby yoga?
A) We recommend waiting at least 6 weeks after you have given birth or 8-10 weeks following an abdominal birth.
Q) Are mother and baby yoga classes good for you?
A) Yes, the combination of gentle exercise, relaxation techniques, and a supportive community helps mums and babies through the ups and downs of new parenthood. Our mum and baby classes are designed to allow you both to relax together, stretch together, and make friends together.
Q) What do I need to bring to mum and baby yoga class?
A) A change bag, blanket, or towel for your baby to lie on, a favourite toy, and a bottle and formula (if you use it)
